CRI (Colour Rendering Index) establishes how faithfully the colour of a surface is represented, just consider that the maximum naturalness of the colour is ideally achieved during midday on a sunny day.

The CRI level usually ranges from a minimum value of <40 to a maximum of >95. Normally, current LED lighting sources have lighting characteristics with a basic CRI value of >80, which is already a very good CRI level in itself.

In fact, those who require a lighting fixture with a higher CRI than the norm are those who run a commercial activity closely linked to the colour rendering of the products marketed; this is the case for all those activities that have to do with paints and painting processes, such as body shops and textile companies or those activities that need to display objects in special "showrooms", therefore food counters in supermarkets, butchers, shops or museums and exhibition galleries where the colour rendering of the work is of fundamental importance.
