INTRODUCTION
LC GREEN BENEFIT SRL creates innovative eco-sustainable products with low environmental impact.
The relationship with workers, customers, suppliers, companies and institutions that are involved in the entire process is fundamental.
With them, the Company intends to maintain and develop relationships in the utmost mutual trust, operating in compliance with national laws and regulations and rejecting any discrimination of people based on sex, race, language, personal and social conditions, religious and political beliefs.
Art. 1 – General principles
To achieve its objectives, the Company is inspired by the following principles:
- compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations;
- respect for people;
- equality and impartiality;
- honesty, transparency and reliability;
- confidentiality;
- loyalty, correctness and good faith;
- protection of the environment and safety;
- protection of health;
- respect for competition as an indispensable tool for the development of the economic system;
Art.2 – Recipients
The principles and provisions of this Code of Ethics (hereinafter “Code”) are binding for all the following Recipients:
– the owners;
– the employees;
– all collaborators with whom contractual relationships are maintained, even temporary, as well as all those with whom work activities and commercial relationships are carried out in the context of the various relationships maintained with the Company for the development, production, promotion, distribution and sale of our products.
Art.3 – Indications of the methods of communication, implementation and control
The Company ensures that all Recipients are aware of and comply with this Code, through online publication, direct communications and as part of the supply contract with most of its partners and verifies its implementation through an extensive auditing program.
The Management ensures:
– the dissemination of the Code among the Company's employees, customers, suppliers, partners and in general among all interested third parties;
– support in the interpretation and implementation of the Code;
– the application and compliance with the Code of Ethics and the organization, management and control models;
– to undertake all initiatives deemed most appropriate in relation to violations of the rules contained in the Code;
– the updating of the provisions with regard to the needs that arise from time to time manifest.
Art.4 – Correctness
Every activity carried out by the Recipients must be consistent with the mission and protection of the Company, according to national laws, general principles and regulations.
All Recipients, regardless of the nature and duration of the employment contract, are required in business relations with third parties to behave ethically and in compliance with the law, based on maximum transparency, correctness, efficiency, as defined by the standards of the Code of Ethics.
The Recipients are personally responsible for the preservation of the material assets and resources of the Company entrusted for the performance of their duties.
The Recipients do not use the information and assets of the Company for personal purposes.
The Recipients may not accept, nor carry out, pressure or reports that could compromise the reputation of the Company or gain advantages for themselves or third parties.
The Recipients may not accept, nor grant, sums of money, gifts, discounts, forms of hospitality, or any other form of benefit. They can be accepted only if of modest value, if they do not compromise the integrity and reputation of the parties and if they cannot be interpreted, in any way, as acts intended to obtain advantages and favors in an improper manner.
Art. 5 – Relationships with suppliers
The choice is made by seeking the quality / price ratio (with an essential minimum required quality target), reliability, trust, compliance with laws and regulations. Payments are managed in such a way as to allow the supplier not only to comply with its commitments but to represent a further sign of trust.
Art. 6 – Prices
Prices are established based on a series of factors: the quantity, the type of product, the requested delivery, etc. Unfair competition practices, price reduction and bid rigging are excluded.
Art.7 – Staff
The management of employment and collaboration relationships is based on respect for workers' rights and the professionalism of each of them.
The Company ensures that its Recipients are suitable for the functions to be performed and professionally qualified.
To this end, it enhances and grows human resources with training and retraining initiatives in consideration of the skills and abilities of individuals, without any discrimination.
Art. 8 - Environment and health
The Company pursues in its activities the principle of protection and safeguarding of the environment and aims to guarantee the prevention and safety of the health of the Recipients.
The headquarters was built with the criterion of healthiness: space, air, natural light to work in the best conditions.
In accordance with law no. 3 of 16 January 2003, smoking is prohibited in the workplace, including service vehicles.
The company aims to contribute to protecting the environment by placing on the market products with low environmental impact characteristics that are recycled and recyclable as much as possible, which have the least possible impact on the environment throughout their life cycle (production, transport, use, disposal).
Art. 9 Sustainable development
The Company aims for sustainable and consolidated development: our objective is to establish ongoing and multi-year collaborative relationships with the Recipients in order to foster a climate of trust and a reputation for reliability.
Art. 10 – Violations of the Ethical Code
Compliance with the Code must also be considered an essential part of the contractual obligations undertaken by non-subordinate collaborators and/or persons having business relations with the Company. Violations of the rules of the Code of Ethics may constitute a breach of contractual obligations. Compliance with these principles will be pursued through a system of internal rules and the collection of data monitored and compared with appropriate indicators.
Art.11 – Final provisions
This Code was approved in September 2022.
Any variation and/or integration of the same will be approved by the Management and promptly disseminated to the Recipients.
